National Beer Day is celebrate…
National Beer Day is celebrated in the US every year on April 7, marking the day that the Cullen-Harrison Act was enacted after having been signed into law by President FDR on March 22, 1933. This led to the Eighteenth Amendment being repealed on December 5, 1933, with the ratification of the Twenty Second Amendment on April 6, the day prior to National Beer Day, is known as New Beers Eve! In early 2018 we brewed a traditional Farmhouse Saison with Pilsner Malted Rye, Unmalted Wheat, Malted wheat.  This beer was fermented and racked to French Pinot Noir Oak Barrels. We pitched a unique blend of Belgian Saison yeast, Brettanomyces, and Lactobacillus then aged the beer 14 months. Tasting Notes presented some unique characteristics including an herbal and floral aroma, along with a bursting ripe fruit, pineapple like blast.  Pale in color and dry on the palate, Reserve Saison is a true Wild Ale Experience, with classic Brett flavors and aromas such as Horsey and Barnyard “funkiness” with backend fruit.  Seasons Come and Seasons Go, just like this one of a kind GoodLife Reserve Saison!

We are excited to bring you a…
We are excited to bring you a little bit of good news today and announce a collaborative partnership with BackDrop Distilling, located in our building, to bring sanitizer to those in the greatest need. This unique circumstance is allowing us to help our community by turning our beer waste, or “Trub,” into sanitizer. Backdrop Distilling is then providing this sanitizer to local first responders for FREE! We are very fortunate to help our local community to the best of our abilities. Following CDC Guidelines, starting today we are providing sanitizer in bulk form to St. Charles Hospital, Air Link, Bend Fire Department, and The City of Bend Police Department. Please note due to current demand for these urgent organizations, we are unable to produce enough to supply to the general public. We are working diligently to be able to hopefully provide this as a service with our beer to-go program as soon as we possibly can, if we ever can. Please continue to follow us to find out more. Happy St. Paddy’s Day! The times they are a changing and we wanted to give you an update on our hours and service options. As of this morning, we made the decision to close the pub entirely for the day to try to do our part in keeping our team/family healthy. We are working hard to come up with our plan of action for the next bit and we’ll have more info for you tomorrow morning. We do know WE WILL be back open soon for beer to-go but no food. Try to stay positive and keep living your GoodLife!

There’s no doubt we are on unknown roads right now but we just wanted to take a minute and say thank you to all of the truck drivers, delivery drivers, and merchandisers who are still out hustling to make sure people have the necessities they need. Hey everyone! As of now, WE ARE OPEN. However, we are modifying our hours to 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm until further notice. Please note that we are taking precautions here at our pub to include the following CDC guidelines to ensure that we are operating with the health of our guests and staff as our #1 priority: •We are removing seating to add social distancing and keeping our occupancy below 50 individuals •We are removing on-table salt and pepper shakers. They are available upon request and will be sanitized between each use •We are halting growler fills until further notice •We are sanitizing all menus, tables, and chairs between each use •We have hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes on hand to aid in keeping our location as sanitary as humanly possible •All employees have already been given instruction on what to do in the case of illness and how to help prevent the spread of it We do offer BEER TO GO in cases, specialty cans, bottles, and will be running specials all week! In these crazy times, we thank everyone for their patience and understanding. This is a day to day situation and we are doing our best to make great beer and give those already affected by this a place to enjoy a pint. We also care dearly about our employees and must look out for their health as well as their income. If you are not feeling well, please stay in. We are all in this together folks! Music and beer is still the passion of the brewery and as we enter year three of our partnership with @phillyglove and Special Sauce the connection runs deeper than ever. With the success of last years The Juice IPA and G. Love’s recent album release, The Juice, we will continue to let The Juice flow with the same tasty recipe. In conjunction with G. Love and Special Sauce touring throughout the Northwest in March, we will be releasing The Juice IPA two months earlier than normal to get the hops flowing so it’ll be hitting markets next week. This harmonious collaboration will be hitting shelves in OR, WA, ID, and PA starting next week in cans and limited kegs thru September. If you live outside of those states, our good friends @tavour will have it available for shipment to the following states: CA CO NV NM OH WI NY NE DC MA FL PA NH NJ.
